Go green with products made from wheat. This company’s goal is to reduce oil dependency and they supposedly have the world’s largest range of crop-based eco-friendly products. Check it out, especially if you’re stuck for a last-minute holiday gift idea.

Here’s a company that takes in used boxes and sells them at great prices, all the while helping to keep all that material out of landfills. Three Cheers!!!
I came across them during my search for boxes and other packing materials that can be delivered to an APO address.

Oh my gosh, it looks like using these will save SO much as far as paper towels go. They are reusable, machine washable and very absorbent! Seems like this is a much better alternative to paper towels.

Comedy Central has an eco-awareness page called Address The Mess and it’s full of helpful tips on how you can live in better harmony with the environment. Check it out, it’s pretty cool.

These items are so much fun, and such a great way to keep a lot of material from ending up in the landfill! They also have belts, bracelets, placemats, jewelry and more! Plus, they’ll plant a tree for every gift you buy!

We all know that these compact flourescent lightbulbs are great for saving energy. The drawback is that they contain mercury and need to be disposed of properly. No big deal, just make sure they don’t get (gulp!) thrown in with your regular household trash.
