Check out this site http://greenfestivals.org/ for information on upcoming Green Festivals in Washington DC, San Francisco and Seattle. Chicago hosted a Green Festival in February and there were over 31,000 people in attendance.

Phone Book Recycling

It’s that time of year when the new phone books are issued. Please recycle your old phone book instead of throwing it in the trash. I wish there was a way the company could pick up old used phone books at the same time they are delivering the new ones. It can be a pain finding a recycling point for used phone books. You can’t usually mix them in with your newspapers in most areas.
